Our goal is to provide exceptional personalized medical care in a pleasant environment. Capital District Pediatrics, P.C. strives to become the leading provider of pediatric health care services in the Capital District.

Practice Profile

Capital District Pediatrics, P.C. focuses exclusively on the primary care for infants, children, and adolescents. Dr. Mian trained at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center (Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons). She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics. The practice currently occupies Suite 204 North in the Niskayuna Professional Building located off Balltown Road.

Office Hours

We encourage our patients to make an appointment in order to reduce their waiting room time. However, for your convenience, same day appointments are available. If you have an emergency, please let the receptionist know immediately. Our regular office hours as follows:

Mon. to Thurs.: 9AM-12PM and 1PM-4PM

Fridays: 9AM to 5PM

Saturdays: 9AM to 12PM (by appointment only).

In order to be seen on Saturday, sick calls need to be discussed with the provider by 9AM so that we may be able to schedule you to be seen on that day. Please call our office during regular office hours to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please let our office know at least 24 hours in advance for rescheduling. In case of a snow emergency, please contact our office in the morning by 9AM to confirm your appointment for that day.

Location and Directions

We are located at 2317 Balltown Road in Niskayuna, New York at the corner of Balltown Road and Providence Road. We are only minutes away from the Thruway I-90 as well as Troy-Schenectady Road (Route 7). Convenient private parking is provided in front of the building at no extra charge. The office is located on the second floor in Suite 204 North.

From Rt. 7 West: If you are traveling West on Rt. 7, make a right turn on Balltown Road (Rt. 146) and the office is at the intersection of River Road and Balltown Road.

From Rt. 7 East: If you are traveling East on Rt. 7, make a left turn on Balltown Road (Rt. 146). The office is at the intersection of River Road and Balltown Road.

From I-90: Take Exit 25 and then take the exit for Rt. 7 East. Then make a left turn on Balltown Road (Rt. 146). The office is at the intersection of River Road and Balltown Road.

Contact Information

Our office is available for any questions that you may have. We return daytime non- emergency telephone calls from patients between 12PM - 1PM and 3PM - 4PM. Please inform the receptionist immediately if your call is an emergency. Our telephone is transferred to an answering service during non-office hours. The service will then contact the provider on call.
